I think I'll paint.

No altered book covers finished yet... Sometimes I want to start something totally fresh. This is a painting I did on brown paper. I made the frame with chip board. She's for sale in my Etsy Shop. SOLD Thanks!

The painting is surprisingly lovely. But did u do the painting when you were in a bad mood or stressful mood? Usually, colors used in the paiting reflects the painter's mood or character. Colors were all dark, darkness may mean mystery. Are you by any chance mysterious or maybe disturbed?

Hmmmmm.... maybe I AM mysterious!

Lots of things in life disturb me, but I don't think *I* am "disturbed".
As I recall, I was in a fine mood when I painted this. It was after dinner, the dishes were cleared away, and I felt very peaceful.
I modeled the pose of the woman, the way her face was turned, after a famous painter's work (I forget which). I probably selected paints that were already on my worktable. I like bright vibrant colors, but I don't want everything I do to be vivid, so I stretch myself sometimes by using something different.
I wouldn't try to read too much into it. But I'm always interested in the story behind other painters' work, so thanks for asking!! I was just happy that this one turned out rather pensive-looking.
